First steps 

Alexandre Ottoveggio began his filmmaking career at the age of 16.

Alexandre, born in Casablanca, North Africa to an Italian family, began his path by Helping friends on various international productions. Through this experience, he acquired a multitude of skills and transitioned into the role of casting director. Some of his notable projects include the TV series Shaka Zulu, Furia, and several other films.

He found new opportunities by working as an extra in challenging conditions in the Moroccan desert and occasionally as an actor. These experiences sparked his interest in cinematography and filmmaking, leading him to pursue his dream of becoming a filmmaker in Europe and the USA.

In upstate New York, he filmed his first short movie, an indie production featuring American actors and crews in the picturesque Hudson Valley. It was a transformative experience both personally and professionally. Using a Red Cinema camera for the first time, he realized his passion for storytelling and his desire to create his own projects as a filmmaker.

He found joy in writing his second short film in the same region, as he collaborated with another filmmaker to bring the script to life.

Alexandre has been unwavering in his pursuit of filmmaking since that moment, collaborating with independent filmmakers globally, and producing movies.In order to fund his latest feature film, he even sold his car to ensure its completion without a budget.
